The WorldTour's elite bid farewell to England as Marcel Kittel wins on the Mall

A spectacular three days were brought to an end on The Mall as the Tour de France bid farewell to England and crossed the Channel.

After millions packed the route of the first two stages in Yorkshire, the crowds in London ensured the peloton was given a stunning send off on stage three.

And the riders were quick to take to Twitter to thank the fans for delivering the grandest of Grand Departs.
