Team pursuit stars, new Scottish track queen, and Mancunian crowds all impress in Manchester

International cycling returned to the home of British Cycling this weekend, with Great Britain’s team pursuit stars storming to two gold medals.

Racing in front of a sell-out and partisan crowd, Britain’s cycling heroes showed they are in good shape as they head towards next year’s World Championships with impressive showings across the board.

They did not have it all their own way however, with two German police officers in particular spoiling the home party.
