The new UCI WorldTour season is now just around the corner, with teams going through their final preparations ahead of the Tour Down Under.
Adelaide will witness the official start of the season on Sunday January 19, with Cadel Evans (BMC Racing), Richie Porte (Team Sky) and newly-crowned national champion Simon Gerrans (Orica-GreenEDGE) among the home riders looking for some early-season success.
With UCI points on offer each day Down Under, the leading riders will be looking to make early inroads towards the number one spot, claimed by Joaquim Rodriguez last season.
But what will 2014 hold? The 18 teams to have been granted licences to compete at the highest level of pro cycling have been confirmed by the UCI.
We have already looked at six of the teams competing at WorldTour level next season and what to expect them, now here is part two featuring world number one team Movistar.
