Jeremy Roy (FDJ.fr) was in the thick of things again as the peloton raced towards Paracombe on stage three of the Tour Down Under.
The Frenchman has already shared an insight into the inner workings of the bunch thanks to the on-board footage he uploaded after stage one.
And now Roy has shared his experience of what could be a pivotal stage in the race, with Rohan Dennis (BMC Racing) beating team-mate Cadel Evans to the stage win and the ochre jersey.
A furious pace was set to the stage, which is reflected in Roy’s video, as the fight for position ahead of the final climb of the day intensified.
Position is vital for the short but steep ascent to Paracombe which rises up suddenly – as reflected by the number of riders caught out by the gradients in the video.
With on-board footage set to become a regular feature in the professional peloton, check out the latest peloton-eye view in the video above.
