Dahon will launch the brand new IOS XL, which it describes as the “complete urban commuting solution,” at next month’s Eurobike show.
What that means is that the latest folding bicycle comes complete with everything the typical cycle commuter could possibly need for a ride to work, including a bike pump, lights and a phone/GPS/device charger integrated directly with the bicycle.
Furthermore the IOS XL can be tailored to each user’s preference, with an Andros tool-less adjustable stem making changes between relaxed cruiser and race machine a doddle. A frame built with hydroformed tubing and an in-line hinge create a stiff and strong frame while lending an unique look. Other desirable features include disc brakes and Shimano 8-speed hub gearing.
