The Tour of Wessex sportive will return for a seventh time next year.
It will be held from Saturday May 25 to Monday May 27, over the bank holiday weekend.
The three-day event, held on the Jurassic coastline of south west England, was recently included the Harper Collins tome, the World’s Ultimate Cycling Races.
It starts and finishes in the Somerset town of Somerton each day. A new ‘medium’ route will be introduced next year, giving riders a choice of two routes for every stage.
Riders tackling the standard three-stage event will cover 334 miles in three days. Riders opting for the ‘medium’ distance will cover 208 miles.
Single day options are also offered. Stage one takes in Cheddar Gorge; stage two encompasses the Dorset coast, while stage three takes the riders across Exmoor.
Entry costs £35 per stage, or £105 for all three stages. Riders who meet fundraising pledges for the Rotary Club will have their entry fee refunded.
