The disc brake revolution continues to gain momentum.
The Bianchi Oltre XR2 Disc stole the show at the Italian firm’s 2014 launch earlier this week (read our full launch report here) and it’s one of the first bikes we’ve seen equipped with SRAM’s new 11-speed, disc-ready Red 22 groupset.
But there were big changes across the rest of the Bianchi collection too, with 80 per cent of the road range updated.
Here’s a closer look at the Oltre XR2 Disc and the regular Oltre XR2, which is available in six mechanic rim brake builds, as well as the Infinito CV ‘comfort’ bike, first unveiled ahead of Paris-Roubaix, and the all-new, entry level Intenso.
