Tickets for the Revolution Series are released today, with its highly-anticipated 11th season due to begin in Manchester on October 26.
For the first time the Series features five rounds, with the finale marking the return of elite cycling to the Olympic Velodrome on March 15, 2014.
And the 2013-14 season also sees the Revolution Series recognised as a UCI Class 1 event, the most significant of a raft of changes.
The Elite Championship remains the centrepiece of the Revolution Series, with world-class riders topping the bill in each evening session in Manchester and Glasgow, before a night session at the renamed Lee Valley VeloPark, London.
Last year Olympic champion Ed Clancy was the star of the Series, while there was also a ‘rematch’ on the track between road cycling gold and silver medallists Marianne Vos and Lizzie Armitstead.
Team pursuit gold medallist Peter Kennaugh, a key domestique for Chris Froome at this year’s Tour de France, also competed, as did Paralympian Jody Cundy.
This year they will be joined in the velodromes by riders vying for World Cup qualification points and, as ever, the Future Stars.
Each session will consist of the UCI events in the afternoon before the Elite Championship in the evening (at night in London), with Future Stars event spread across both.
