British cycle clothing manufacturer Shutt Velo Rapide has added two new jerseys to a revamped spring/summer clothing range.
The brand is marking half-a-decade in the business by launching a limited edition team jersey, while a new lightweight performance jersey has also been added to the range.
Constructed from Merino Perform fabric, the Shutt Team Heritage Jersey features flocked logos on both front and back, and embroidered details. The production of the limited edition jersey is restricted to just 200, with pre-ordering necessary for riders who want to get hold of one.
Shutt has also launched the new Lightweight Performance Jersey as part of the ‘biggest, most exciting revamp’ since the Oxfordshire-based firm’s arrival in 2009.
The jersey is made from “three complementary performance fabrics”, which combined are said to provide “unique temperature and moisture control properties”. The summer-weight jersey also has a full-length reflective zip.
Other feature include a reinforced pocket design – including a zipped, waterproofed fourth pocket for valuables – and a reflective hem. Shutt the jersey will suit riders “out for a casual Sunday club run or powering up the Col du Galibier”.
Shutt managing director Pete Bragg said: “The look, feel and quality of our new garments takes Shutt’s design and know-how to the next level. As soon as you pick it up, you just know it’s a high-performance garment, which has been intelligently designed.
“The combined simplicity and attention to detail will ensure that all Shutt garments provide its wearers with style and superior performance time after time.”
Shutt’s 2014 spring/summer range also includes a tri suit and an expanded women’s range.
