The third and final part of the hot, desert racing interlude to the WorldTour season took place in Oman this week.
With the return of top-level racing imminent, the varied route provided by race organisers gave several different riders the chance to build form to take into the big races awaiting in March.
And with plenty on offer, the race provided plenty of thrills, spills and drama.
