Let’s face it, balancing the demands of work and family life with a training programme ain’t easy and can often lead to fewer hours on the bike than we’d like. With the first events of the calendar looming, and the big rides of summer not too far away, making the most of your time in the saddle is critical. Fortunately, we can call upon the advice of Mike Cotty, a man not averse to riding nearly 700km in a single day through the Pyrenees.
