dhb Extreme Weather Neoprene Overshoe

We’ve been convinced by the performance of Endura’s superb Equipe overshoe that Neoprene is the perfect material for any of the breed intended for heavy winter use. This is dhb’s variation on the theme, and which alters with the inclusion of a zipp and Velcro closure at the rear where Endura’s offering relies on the natural stretch of the fabric. Time will tell which is superior, but our history with zips and overshoes isn’t a happy one.

That said, the YKK fastener employed here by dhb is robust and the Velcro closure uncomplicated. The zip is flanked on either side by two strips of reflective material, and the logo is reflective, too. The 3.5mm thick neoprene looks suitably hard wearing, and has been fortified at the heel, toe, and the centre of the sole with what looks like a mesh, except there are no holes, made from kevlar.
