You may have thought we’d forgotten all about the competition we ran at Easter but we’ve been waiting to make that mystery prize we promised a good one. So, congratulations to Simon Martin. A Blade LAZER will be making its way to you shortly.
LAZER’s range of Road Racing helmets are the choice of pro-team Quick Step to name just one. Tom Boonen and Paulo Bettini each wear a 1.18 carat diamond encrusted and gold plated Genesis model to mark their status as World and Olympic champions.
The helmets, donated exclusively to all the Quickstep riders by DHV diamond manufacturing and LAZER, will only become encrusted with a 1 carat diamond upon winning a classic Pro Tour race or a stage in the Tour De France. On the upside, a range of this years LAZER’s have landed here in the office, unfortunately, we have yet to add the diamonds!
We’ll be bringing you full tests of some of the models in the range but first up we thought we’d give one of our lucky readers the feature packed Blade Multi Race Helmet to try.
The Blade Multi features…
Five piece in-mold shell
PERFIT retention system with Coolmax padding
Removable peak with cover-up caps when peak attached
RBS Rigidity Brace System for multi-impact protection
16 extra large vents
Washable Coolmax padding; 2 sizes
