Endura BaaBaa Merino Skull Cap
Merino is the finest of all fabrics, in the humble opinion of this correspondent, and the chance to experience its use in headgear was not one we were likely to pass. Endura’s BaaBaa offering is a simple garment with a single, central seam at the rear to hold the two halves of the hat together, and four more minor junctions at the crown. Endura promise “silky, itch-free comfort”, which at this early stage doesn’t seem outlandish.
A version of the long-drop tail de rigueur on cycling jackets and jerseys features here too, which we hope will provide coverage to the junction with the jacket collar. The finish is subtle: the word ‘BAABAA’ is printed in small, white letters at the front, and there’s a label at the rear, with black-on-black logo, which could conceivably be used to pull the hat into place.
The Endura BaaBaa Merino Skull Cap is available in one size and two colours. The black skull cap costs £15.99. The camo option costs £17.99.
