Endura Transmission II base layer

A long-sleeved base layer will replace short-sleevedequivalents throughout the winter months for many riders. Endura’s Transmission II is just such a garment, and one which attempts to balance the conflicting demands of insulation and ventilation with a lightweight, synthetic fabric (“Polypropylene”, since you ask) that when held to the light becomes transparent. The side panels are lighter still and are doubtless what Endura describes as “body mapped mesh zones for optimal temperature control”.

An early fitting suggests a close but not restrictive cut. It fits easily beneath the Stealth II jacket, for example. The Endura Transmission II base layer comes in five sizes from small to XXL, and in black and white. It costs £25.99.
