Expanded Bike Expo returns to Manchester’s EventCity for 2017

Show broadens horizons for 2017 event, with big names already confirmed

Bike Expo will return to Manchester’s EventCity in March 2017 with an expanded show set to cater for a wider cycling audience than before.

Running on Saturday March 18 and Sunday March 19, Bike Expo is broadening its horizons, with BMX, mountain biking, commuter and electric bike markets joining the road cycling brands showcasing their model year 2017 wares.

Alongside exhibitors including Rose Bikes, Schwalbe and Torq, the Expo will also feature  coaching seminars, live demos, an e-bike test track, and the UK Flatland BMX Championships.

Each area of the show will be geared towards a specific cycling discipline, while there will also be a central stage for interviews – last year’s guests included Chris Boardman, while downhill MTB star Steve Peat has already been confirmed for this year.

Standard tickets to Bike Expo cost just £10 per person, with NUS cardholders saving 50 per cent and under-16s free of charge. An early bird discount of 20 per cent also applies for tickets bought before December 31 2016.
