There’s no shortage of useful cycling-specific apps out there – check out these nine for starters – and now there’s one to help find your ideal saddle setup.
The Saddle Adjust app, which comes from saddle manufacturer Morgaw, allows users to record their saddle angle and setback in order to fine-tune a setup, find their ideal position, try a new saddle or replicate a setup across bikes.
“When it comes to improving comfort and performance, the correct saddle angle and setback are just as important as the saddle’s shape,” according to Morgaw.
“Now you can measure saddle angle and setback using just a smartphone or tablet. The app allows you to try new saddle positions and easily go back to your original setting.”
The app has a built in spirit level which measure saddle angle and users can then take pictures in the app to record saddle setback for that particularly position.
The Saddle Adjust app costs £0.79 on iOS and £0.84 on Google Play. Visit the Morgaw website for more information.
