Belkin’s two-year stint as a headline sponsor in cycling’s top tier is drawing to an end, with the Dutch national lottery set to take over the team.
But while the team’s name will change, its bike supplier will remain the same, with Bianchi committed to the squad through the 2015 season.
The Bianchi Oltre XR2’s green and celeste colour scheme, met with a mixed reactions when it was unveiled at the start of a year, is likely to change, though. Love it or loathe it, the Oltre XR2 is certainly a bike which stands out – and the team’s fleet was commanding plenty of attention when we spotted them in Liverpool ahead of the start of the Tour of Britain.
