Aquila SL
Aquila SL
The first of two new carbon frames in the Sensa range, the Aquila SL is the lightest frame in the range, with a claimed weight of 940g, and has been built with long distance riding and climbing in mind.
The sloping geometry is designed to boost comfort for long hours in the saddle and combines ‘Generation 6 Carbon’ with ‘Zero Void Curing’ technology in a frame which is said to be light, stiff and durable.
‘Flexy Stays’ and a slim 27.2mm seatpost are designed to further boost comfort, while the geometry and tubing dimensions have been optimised for each frame size (50cm, 53cm, 55cm, 58cm and 61cm).
The frame, which has an oversized PF86 bottom bracket, is paired with a new ‘Supra Full Carbon Monocoque Gen6 Salita SL’ fork, which weighs in at just a claimed 325g.
The bike is available in four builds. The Shimano Ultegra mechanical setup comes in at £1,760, while there are Ultegra Di2 (£2,280) and Dura-Ace (£2,480) builds available before the range-topping Dura-Ace Di2 model, which costs £3,280.
