No matter how good your kit is, you can't escape the suffering that comes from riding uphill in the heat (Pic: Strava)
The benchmark Endura used when making their super light summer jersey was how cool it could keep a rider on a simulated Alpine climb in 30 degree heat. Which is a pretty tough set of conditions.
What they came up with is the 85g (for a size medium) FS260 Pro SL jersey, which apparently tested 15 percent better than their unnamed reference jersey, as well as being, quite literally, very light itself.
Construction is from a combination of super-light, fast-wicking fabrics. Just like the other jerseys here, the mesh is used on the front, which stays mostly out of the sun, and the back features a more substantial fabric with UPF25 protection.
Sleeves and hem use lightweight internal silicone grippers, and open mesh features under the arms to provide yet more cooling through the jersey.
