Northwave’s Sonic SRS shoes are so called because they use the Italian brand’s SRS (Slim Ratchet System) micrometric closure.
The aluminium-forged buckle is designed to offer enhanced comfort as it follows the shape of the foot. The shoes ‘multilayer thermowelded’ construction keeps overall weight relatively low at 283g per shoe and minimalised stitching helps contribute to a snug fit.
Otherwise, there’s a carbon-reinforced nylon sole and plenty of ventilation to keep things airy in warm weather. We reckon these shoes look great, too.
