Expect pink to become Britain’s new favourite colour if Bradley Wiggins wins the Giro d’Italia next month.
Even style icon Wiggins, however, might struggle to pull off this look: shocking pink Vittoria Rubino Pro tyres.
The aptly named Rubino Pro Giro Pink has been launched to coincide with Vittoria’s sixtieth anniversary as well as with the Giro, which this year celebrates its 96th edition.
Vittoria are claiming all the performance benefits of the standard Rubino Pro for this special edition, including durability, puncture protection, comfort and a wide size range.
While the Rubino Pro Giro is the only coloured tyre in the range, it shares an impressively high thread count (150tpi) with its siblings.
The limited edition run will be sold in twin packs, priced at 29.95 Euros (£25.43 at today’s rate).
