Training with the pros: Lucy Garner on sprinting

To be honest, I’ve not done much in the gym. Last year, I started a little bit in the gym but as I get older I imagine I’ll do more and more.

I’ve always done core exercises but I couldn’t really say much about a specific session. I’m not like someone such as Kirsten Wild who has to be in the gym every week because she’s on the maximum level and needs to keep it up.

That will come in time I guess and there’s no need to rush into everything quickly.

I’ve not been in the gym before so there’s no point in overdoing it. I’ll just work on it year on year.
