The CTC’s Guildford Sportive returns with two routes – 57 and 95 miles – on Sunday May 27.
Starting from the CTC’s national office in Railton Road, Guildford, both routes head west along quiet roads to the village of Christmas Pie before turning south through the lanes to Tilford and on to Liphook, where the first feed stop is located.
Here the routes divide with the 57-mile option heading north back to HQ, while the 95-mile route, which has an additional feed stop, continues southwards to Petworth. Heading north again using the back roads and lanes to Haslemere, the long route has more 4,000 feet of climbing, with most of it on rolling roads.
Both routes will be fully signposted and electronically timed, with well-stocked feed stops and mechanical back-up on route as well as at the start/finish.
Entries can be made online or by post with a discount for CTC members and group bookings for teams of four or more. Visit www.ctcchallengerides.co.uk for more information.
