Riders can secure entry for the 13, 26 and 52-mile routes on the Great Manchester Cycle for £10 thanks to a pricing offer to celebrate the event’s partnership with the Daily Mirror.
The £10 fee, reduced from £28, celebrates 10 years of the Bupa Great Manchester Run, also organised by Nova International.
The Great Manchester Cycle, on Bank Holiday Monday June 4, will take place on closed roads, including a stretch of Manchester’s busiest motorway – the iconic Mancunian way. Starting and finishing at Eastlands, home of Manchester City Football Club, the course takes in the districts of Manchester, Trafford and Salford.
Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Romero said: “The Great Manchester Cycle is going to be a fantastic day out and a very different experience to anything riders will have experienced before.”
“Riding on closed roads through the heart of Manchester for just £10 will be an incredible thing to do and hopefully families and keen cyclists alike will turn out for a day they won’t forget.”
