We’ve just received word that Mike Cotty has completed his epic Pyrenees coast-to-coast challenge, a 690km ride, in a staggering time of 30hrs 43mins.
Mike set off yesterday morning and his route, which he rode non-stop through the night, included the feared climbs of the Aubisque, Soulor, Tourmalet, Aspin and Peyresourde to name a few. Certainly no walk in the park.
We were able to follow Mike’s ride live via a GPS app on his smartphone that relayed his position to this article.
Right now, Mike is in good spirits, with the only complaint being a sore neck. We’ll have more from Mike early next week, once he’s recovered enough to tell us his story.
