Southern Sportive have announced two dates for a new format event for the off-season.
Sportive Pulse is new concept for sportive riders, combining a tailored day of riding with advice and hands on demos to help you improve you riding, fitness and nutrition and to get the most out of your riding.
Sportive Pulse will run on November 7 and March 13, both from Duncton on the South Downs, to give you a post-season snapshot of your fitness and pre-season boost into 2011.
Two separate courses will be marked out, encompassing a main 50km hilly circuit and a low lying 25km warm up and spinning route. Your event entry allows you to mix and match the two with full sportive quality infrastructure, timing and support to back you up.
Between sessions out on the road, there will be scheduled talks and one-to-one workouts and advice from Wattbike, while Mark Turner from SIS will present talks on diet and correct nutrition for cycling and offering free sample products. Plus Wilier will be on hand with their 2011 range of bikes and advice on how to get the perfect bike fit to maximise performance comfort.
Southern Sportive have also teamed up with Wattbike to offer a 10% discount by quoting the discount code “SouthernSportive” online or on the phone. This offer is only available until October 31. To find out more about the Wattbike please visit www.wattbike.com.
