Two teams for Sigma Sport in 2008

Sigma’s 2008 Elite squad

Kingston-based shop and mail order business Sigma Sport launched two teams on February 14 in Hampton Court, Surrey.

The teams are supported by Specialized in the form of Tarmac SL2’s, kitted out with Roval wheels and SRAM’s RED groupset for the elite team.

New to the elite squad is Rob Sharman, who will link up with Matt Stephens to lead the Premier Calendar campaign. Veteran Mike Harrison remarked that the Premier Calendar is increasingly becoming a series dominated by teams and requires a strong line up.

The local team is led once more by Gary Dodd and new for 2008 are Wouter Sybrandy, Andrew Bye and Steve Golla.
