Olympians get naked for Powerade

A new Powerade advertising campaign, the official sports drink of the Beijing Games, will feature some of Britain’s Olympic medal contenders as you’ve never seen them before, the Mail Online reports.

The revealing photos of some of Britain’s medal hopefuls, including Rebecca Romero, will “give people the chance to see the real make-up of an athlete and their muscle and power, celebrating the body and spirit and the hard work that goes into training for all athletes whatever your level” says Coca-Cola, which produces Powerade.

Romero, who transferred successfully from rowing to cycling, won a silver medal at the Olympics in Athens 2004 in rowing, and hopes to add a medal in the 3000m individual pursuit. If she completes the double she be the second ever Briton to manage the feat.
