PRO Endure H2O overshoes £29.35

Designed to work with either road or mtb shoes, PRO’s Endure H2O overshoe employs Optimal Panel Construction, which does what its name implies and provides an impressively snug fit with either. Better even than a close fit is their tidy appearance, which owes much to the thin, flexible and close-fitting fabric used and not a little to a surprisingly high reach over the ankle.

Reinforced with Kevlar around the outside of the nose and heel, the fabric is PU-coated for water resistance and has an insulating, anti-bacterial Bamboo Charcoal Fleece lining.
The rear-mounted zip closure is apparently reversed to keep out dirt and is, in any case, made even more secure through the fitment of a reflective Velcro strap over the cuff.

Key to the Multi-Fit design is the use of a Velcro instep strap, which not only gives good control over fit but significantly eases the task of pulling the overshoe on.

We rode the Endures home through one of the sharpest cloudbursts of recent weeks and found them amazingly resistant to water. The high cuff stops most of the splash water that otherwise finds its way in around the lower leg, while the sealed seam along the front appears to work as promised.
