Tour de France 2015: stage three – Twitter reaction

Peloton reacts to huge crash and Joaquim Rodriguez's victory

Stage three of the Tour de France was marred by a huge, high-speed crash which forced four riders to abandon the stage and former race leader Fabian Cancellara (Trek Factory Racing) to leave the race overnight.

On a day which eventually saw Joaquim Rodriguez win the stage and Chris Froome claim the yellow jersey, it was little surprise to see the riders’ immediate concerns post-race to be the wellbeing of the other riders.

Daniel Oss and Nicolas Edet, meanwhile, were among the riders to show off their scars from the day as we were all reminded what a brutal sport pro cycling can be.
