Tour de France 2015: stage two – photo gallery

Andre Greipel wins, Fabian Cancellara takes yellow but wind is the winner in Zeeland

Fabian Cancellara, just 24 hours earlier, has claimed the ‘Old Lion’ had been usurped at the Tour de France by the young cubs – emphasised by Rohan Dennis winning the stage one time trial to claim the yellow jersey.

But he who roars last, roars loudest – and the Swiss legend bounced back on stage two to finish third on the day and claim the race lead, the 29th time Cancellara has pulled on the yellow jersey at the Tour.

Andre Greipel also proved you should never write him off, sprinting to the seventh Tour stage win of his career as Etixx-QuickStep were unable to make their numerical advantage pay in the finale.

Relive the best bits from a stage thrown into chaos by the crosswinds in the wide-screen gallery below.
