Peter Sagan (Cannondale) continued his love affair with the Tour de Suisse as he sprinted to his ninth career stage win in the race.
The Slovakian prevailed on the tricky, uphill finish of stage three – beating home favourite Michael Albasini (Orica-GreenEDGE) to the line.
Sagan, who is fine-tuning his form ahead of the Tour de France, currently wears the points jersey after an impressive time trial, finishing fourth on the opening stage, and now having won stage three, and it’s difficult to see anybody but the Slovak ace topping the same category in France next month.
For now however, he has the red and white jersey to defend and more stage wins to hunt down as well.
