Vocabulary leakage
Too much time listening to Tour de France coverage can lead to cycling-specific jargon seeping into your regular every day vocabulary.
If you find yourself referring to roundabouts as “street furniture” or cobbles as “pavé” it may raise a few eyebrows among your non-cycling friends, but is largely nothing to worry about.
If, however, you find that you are talking constantly in a thick accent like Sean Kelly, including referring to Orica-GreenEDGE as “Ulrika Greenhedge”, then you may need to seek out professional help.
