UCI WorldTour 2014: five predictions for the new season

Which stars will shine on professional cycling's biggest stages next season?

With teams finalising their plans for the 2014 season, fine-tuning their preparations at winter training camps and preparing an onslaught on the WorldTour, the new campaign is just around the corner.

But who will shine in the new year, with UCI points up for grabs as they bid to displace Joaquim Rodriguez (Katusha) as the world’s number one rider, and Movistar as the top team?

We’ve already tipped five young riders for success next year and now we have gazed into our crystal ball to see who will scoop some of the biggest prizes over the next six months.
