UCI WorldTour: five young guns to watch out for in 2014

A quintet of young riders who could leave their mark on cycling's top tier next season

It was only weeks ago that the 2013 UCI WorldTour drew to a close in Beijing, but with teams already being named for the season-opening Tour Down Under, the 2014 campaign is almost upon us.

For some riders it will represent a fresh start with a new team – with Rigoberto Uran (Sky to Omega Pharma-Quickstep) and Rui Costa (Movistar to Lampre-Merida) among the big-name transfers.

For others, 2014 could be a major breakthrough year – the chance to follow in the tracks of riders like Nairo Quintana (Movistar), who shot to prominence during a hugely impressive 2013.
