Three Peaks Classic
Sunday June 15
Starting to hit form for summer? The Three Peaks Classic takes place on Sunday June 15 and offers two routes of 95km and 124km in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The sportive takes in the best of the Yorkshire Dales, with courses which skirt three of the famous peaks of the national park: Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
Both routes start in Settle and pass through the market town of Grassington, which features on stage one of the Tour de France. The long route takes in more than 1,800m of climbing, while the short option avoids the ascent over Dentdale but still features some 1,300 of climbing.
