Moor 2 Sea Sportive – Saturday September 6
The Moor 2 Sea Sportive gives riders the chance to take part in a timed King of the Mountains hill climb on the iconic ascent of Haytor on Dartmoor.
Haytor is included on the 108km ‘challenge’ and 180km ‘extreme’ courses of the event and will see riders ascend 1,200 feet over a distance of 3.7 miles on a climb which has been included in the Tour of Britain three times and most recently as a summit finish in 2013, on a stage won by Simon Yates.
Any rider who completes the climb within 26 minutes will receive a KoM pin badge, while a range of KoM jerseys will be awarded to the fastest riders in a range of categories.
As well as the 108km and 180km routes, a 60km ‘inspire’ course is also available. All three route options, which all start from Exeter Racecourse, will be signed and marshaled, with electronic timing, High5 feed stations and mechanical support.
Date: Saturday September 6
Routes: 60km, 108km, 180km
