Tickets for the three-day Dare 2b Yorkshire Festival of Cycling, being held at Harewood House during next year’s Tour de France Grand Depart, are now on sale.
Taking place from Friday July 4 to Sunday July 6, the event will allow festival-goers to witness the Tour de France first hand when the peloton races through the historic Harewood grounds en route to Harrogate on the Saturday.
A large Expo will be held over the weekend, showcasing both major and emerging cycling and outdoor brands while there will be a whole host of outdoor action to enjoy.
Festival-goers will be able to follow the routes of the first two Tour de France stages during various riders over the weekends, while there will also be time trials, women-only rides, family rides, trail runs and duathlons on offer.
Entertainment will take place on a central stage, and camping is available on site during the weekend.
Christopher Newton, Harewood Events Ltd director, said: “It’s been great to watch the public excitement for the Festival growing over the last few months.
“We’re very pleased that we can now release the hotly-anticipated tickets to the public.
“We very much look forward to welcoming our visitors in July, and to putting on a brilliant cycling spectacle for everyone.”
Tickets start from £18, with a range of tailored packages available for camping and participation in some of the activities on offer.
A ten metre by ten ten metre, standard three-night weekend camping pitch for up to eight people costs £145.00.
