A tour of the Swiss Alps with the Col Collective

With the UCI’s headquarters stationed in Aigle, naturally there is some amazing cycling to be found in the Swiss Alps and surrounding regions.

In fact, the riding in Switzerland is so good, we’ve questioned before whether it might be Europe’s best-kept cycling secret.

The Grand Tours Project’s Alain Rumpf has dubbed the Col de la Croix ‘a cycling heaven’ on these very pages, adding: “If you have to do only one climb in the French speaking part Switzerland, this is the one.”

And he was the guide for the Col Collective’s latest Swiss adventure, which took in that 22km ascent, as well as the Col du Pillon and Col des Mosses.
