Want to ride with Alberto Contador? Polartec, a sponsor of Contador’s development team, are giving one UK cyclist the chance to go one better and join the seven-time Grand Tour winner on a five-day training camp in Gran Canaria this October.
The competition will run from August 29 and September 26, during which time you have to log at least 1,000km on Strava. As you rack up the kilometres, you will work your way through four challenges, with a badge being unlocked as each is completed, before moving on to the next level of difficulty.
One UK rider, selected by a panel of judges on October 7, will then be picked to join Team Fundacion Contador in Gran Canaria, along with nine other successful competition winners from other countries.
As well as the opportunity to ride with Contador, weekly prizes will be up from grabs from leading clothing brands like Castelli, Sportful, Rapha and rh+.
