Orica-GreenEDGE have enjoyed a supreme season to date, and it continues to go from strength-to-strength for the Australian team.

Pieter Weening’s stage nine victory at the Giro d’Italia was the latest in a line of victories which started on the very first day of the season with Simon Gerrans at the Tour Down Under.

And the Australian team are not the only ones from Down Under celebrating, as Cadel Evans ensured he will spend the second rest day of this year’s race as overall leader. The Aussie veteran looks in good shape, fully justifying his tag as among the pre-race favourites.
