Jo McRae says exercising the upper back is as important, if not more so, than the lower back

We all know of the importance of exercising the lower back – but our conditioning columnist Jo McRae says the upper back is just as important.

Spending many a long ride hunched over handlebars, failure to exercise the ‘thoracic spine’ can cause pain in the back, neck and shoulders.

Lucky then, that Jo is on hand with some flexibility exercises using a foam roller to keep you supple this Christmas.
