When the Boardman Pro Carbon SLR racing bike arrived at RCUK Towers back in November it certainly looked as though, on paper, it would deliver plenty of bang for its buck.
Boasting a complete weight of just 7.65kg, and dressed in Shimano’s 11-speed Ultegra groupset, the striking machine has been put through its paces over the last two months.
It’s super-stiff frame and aggressive geometry helped to deliver what we considered to be a race-worthy machine.
