Endura Equipe neoprene overshoes
The best overshoe I’ve ever tried, by some distance. How many ways are there to love the Endura Equipe overshoe? Let’s count them. One: The neoprene fabric keeps out rain and cold. Be warned, though: on too warm days, it can leave you with sweaty feet; an overshoe for very cold weather only.
Two: It’s sufficiently stretchy to remove the need for zips or Velcro fastenings; items that typically break or tear on overshoes. Three: The stitching is robust enough to withstand this pulling over of shoes and in this regard, my set have taken up where they left off last winter, being tugged unceremoniously into place without complaint.
Four: They’re easy to clean. You’ll probably want to put them in the washing machine to wash out sweat transferred to the ankle, but a quick wipe of the exterior will be sufficient if you’ve worn them on a cold day. Five: the nylon construction of the sole is super tough, and has withstood many short walks from café to bike with only a slight ‘fluffing’ of the stitching to show for it.
