David Millar’s Cervelo S3
David Millar’s Cervelo S3
Scottish veteran David Millar bid farewell to the professional peloton this year, 17 years after first professional terms with Cofidis.
Millar, 37, spent the final seven years of his career with Garmin-Sharp with his steed of choice for his final season being the Cervelo S3.
Formerly the World Championship-winning bike of Thor Hushovd, the bike was brought back into the Cervelo range this year.
Combining the narrow frontal profile and aero tube shape of the S5 with the comfort of Cervelo’s R-Series, the S3 was Millar’s bike of choice for the Classics season.
Millar’s steed is equipped with Shimano’s Dura-Ace Di2, a super-long 15cm 3T ARX Team stem and 40cm 3T Ergonova Pro handlebar.
