Genesis unveils model year 2015 bikes: part two – Volare and Croix de Fer

A detailed inspection of the new machines in the Milton Keynes brand's range of steel race and adventure bikes

British brand Genesis has lifted the lid on its new collection of metal road bikes.

The Milton Keynes firm recently drew back the covers from an expanded range, and RoadCyclingUK was among the guests invited to inspect the new machines.

We’ve already brought you a detailed look at the model year 2015 Equilibrium range, which this year contains eight bikes – four with disc brakes, and four with conventional rim brakes – in an earlier feature.

Here we’ll consider the Volare range of classic steel racing bikes, ridden to victory  on several occasions already this season by Roger Hammond’s Madison-Genesis squad, and the Croix de Fer all-rounders, billed by Genesis as ‘adventure-cross’.

We’ve rounded up this article with a widescreen gallery of detailed images of the machines that we consider to be the key models from Genesis’ new range.
