There is little conventional about the CULTTM ceramic bearings on which the Boras’ role, claimed to be nine-times smoother than a traditional stainless steel bearing. The alu-carbon equivalent employs the same bearings and spoke lacing but weighs a claimed 1,590 grams a pair.

RCUK’s sister title, Ride UK, will host a shop battle between staff at BMC stockists. A BMX park contest, an electric bike village, and an MTB Demo Track are among the attractions.
