Organisers of the Giant’s Causeway Coast Sportive in Northern Ireland have issued a final call for entries ahead of the event on Saturday September 15.
The sportive, in its second year and run in association with Chain Reaction Cycles, offers 35, 80 and 115-mile routes taking in a series of the country’s landmarks, including the Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery (Ireland’s oldest whiskey distillery) and the Glens of Antrim, as well as Torr Head Road – a 20 per cent climb, 100 miles into the route.
Entry costs £35 and, along with full signed routes, motorcycle outriders, feed stations, insurance cover and electronic timing, riders will get a bowl of hot pasta, tea and coffee and a goody bag after completing the sportive.
Entry closes on Thursday September 13. More information at www.giantscausewaycoastsportive.com
