It has been a bumper week at RoadCyclingUK, with the announcement of the route of the 2014 Tour de France topping our agenda.
Events in Paris were far from our only concern, however, with the imminent arrival of winter ramping up our test schedule while driving down the mercury.
We’ve checked out winter clothing fromLOOK and DeFeet, and we also got our hands on a typically stylish ensemble from Rapha.
Meanwhile, the end of the road racing season means attention turns to both the track and ‘cross, with Rapha Super Cross and the first round of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup kickstarting the latter’s season.
One man who knows about switching from road to track is newly-crowned European champion Andy Tennant, who gave us the inside line on training at British Cycling ahead of Saturday’s Revolution Series and next month’s UCI Track World Cup.
Track queen Laura Trott, former Tour de France winner Andy Schleck and British national road racing champion Lizzie Armitstead also spoke to RCUK on subjects as varied as women’s cycling, Chris Froome’s performance in the 2013 Tour de France, and giant splinters.
Did you miss any of it? Never fear – we’ave rounded up the best of the week’s stories on the following pages. Check them out!
